First off, the video that I've shared is just to try and demonstrate the sound that these suckers make when the handles are squeezed. It almost totally sounds like they go, "slice," lol. It sounds better in person of course, but I think it can be heard pretty well in the video.
Anyway, in my household, we have always had a pair of scissors that lay on a certain spot on the kitchen countertop at all times. And not too long ago I got these awesome scissors from Slice, and I thought that they would be the perfect as our countertop scissors. So I switched the old scissors to these without saying anything to my fiancée... Well, she wound up loving them as much as I do, and we continue to be plenty happy with them.

What Makes the Large Scissors Special?
Slice’s large scissors are specifically designed for user comfort, with a soft-touch inner lining and a lightweight but durable handle. As with all Slice® tools, they offer a finger-friendly® safety grind that cuts materials effectively but is safer than traditional blades when it comes to skin lacerations. Because zirconium oxide (the blade material we use) is chemically inert, it’s also easy to clean and will never rust. What Other Scissor Styles Does Slice Make?
Slice makes a whole line of safer scissors, which includes the 10544 Small Scissors and the 10546 Small Pointed Scissors. Both feature a finger-friendly blade, and both are popular with teachers and crafters, as well as in industrial settings. What Does “Finger Friendly” Mean?
