I've never used scissors of this size that have ceramic blades before. I have always used Fiskars scissors in this size. And now that I've used these I can say that my fingers sometimes get stuck in the finger loops. But they did on the Fiskars too. For the most part though, these cut just as well as the Fiskars on most things. And then, the Fiskars cut some things better while Slice's scissors cut other things better. BUT, Slice's scissors are way safer, and they should last a whole lot longer than even the Fiskars.

Employees are trialing a few different slice products on the shop floor and I have had nothing but positive feedback so far. Great products!

FAQ - Häufige Fragen

Most safety scissors rely on their rounded tips to give them a safety designation. While Slice® ceramic scissors do have rounded tips, they also feature a blade with our proprietary grind. The resulting edge creates finger-friendly® scissors that cut material effectively and resist cutting skin.
Customers find these scissors useful in classroom, laboratory, institutional, and industrial settings. Thick yet lightweight, Slice ceramic scissors easily cut through many different objects such as craft materials, plastics, rubber and vinyl.
You won’t need to look up how to sharpen scissors because Slice uses 100 percent zirconium oxide, an advanced ceramic material that holds its edge, on average, 11.2 times longer than steel. Because this material is chemically inert, it’s ideal for strong cleaners, when required, to remove stubborn materials or sanitize the blades. There is no need for oil or lubricants to maintain the smooth cutting motion.
